Bridal Shower Punch
2 quarts raspberry sherbet*
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
2 (1 liter) bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
Spoon ice cream by tablespoonsful into a large punch bowl. Add water and lemonade concentrate; stir just until combined. Slowly pour carbonated beverage down the side of bowl. Stir gently to mix.
Makes 32 (about 4 ounce) servings.
* may also use vanilla ice cream or orange, lime or lemon sherbet

Pique Punch
1/2 gallon raspberry sherbet
1/2 gallon lime sherbet
4 (28 ounce) bottles ginger ale, chilled
1 (28 ounce) bottle soda, chilled
1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 (6 ounce) bottle maraschino cherries
Fresh strawberries
Mix all ingredients together in a large punch bowl. Stir and serve.
Yields 2 large punch bowls full.

Strawberry Champagne Punch
1 pint fresh strawberries
2 cups white Zinfandel wine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (6 ounce) can frozen pineapple concentrate, thawed (undiluted)
1 lemon
1 chilled bottle Champagne
1 liter lemon-lime soda
Wash and hull strawberries, and chop coarsely.
Combine wine, sugar and pineapple juice concentrate.
Grate the rind of one lemon, squeeze juice from lemon and add to wine mixture along with empty lemon shell. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, strain and discard fruits (optional).
Pour over ice in individual glasses or put into a punch bowl with champagne and lemon-lime soda. Serve over ice.

Lime Punch
1 (6 ounce) box lime Jell-O
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups boiling water
1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice
46 ounces pineapple juice
6 cups cold water
2 (1 liter) bottles 7-Up or Sprite
Dissolve lime Jell-O and sugar in boiling water. Add remaining ingredients except 7-Up or Sprite. Freeze. Remove from freezer 2-3 hours before using.
Add 7-up or Sprite just before serving.

Bridal Sweet Punch
6 cups water
10 tea bags
3 cups granulated sugar
3 cups orange juice
3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 cup fresh, strained lemon juice
2 quarts ginger ale
Mint leaves for garnish
This punch can be made in advance in large quantities.
Bring the water to a boil, add the tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags; add the sugar. Mix and chill for at least 3 hours.
Place the chilled tea in a punch bowl, add the juices, and stir.
Just before serving, add the ginger ale and stir. Add some ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.
Serves 48

Peppermint Float Punch
1 gallon vanilla ice cream, room temperature
Peppermint extract to taste
Green food coloring
3 to 4 (liter-size) bottles 7-Up
Mix ice cream with peppermint extract and green food coloring in a punch bowl. Add peppermint extract one drop at a time, as a little goes a long way. Add 7-Up to ice cream mixture.
NOTE: If you need more volume, just add more 7-Up to the punch.

Harvey Wallbanger Punch
1 quart vodka
1 quart cream
1/2 quart Galliano liqueur
5 quarts orange juice
